Our Facilities

At Mosston you can expect to find modern classrooms that are regularly updated and maintained. We have 6 classrooms that are complimented by a Library Learning Centre, Computer Suite and Hall. This is to accommodate the growing number of new entrants and allows the teachers more flexibility with their teaching programmes. Most classrooms are air-conditioned.

The Library Learning Centre has recently been fully upgraded and our books are continually replaced or added to, to ensure student interest remains high. Our library has 3 additional computers for student use. The City Library bus visits the school every second week.

We are fortunate to own an additional building (funded by the community) which is used for music tuition and as a resource centre. At Mosston we place a strong emphasis on Information Technology Communication (ICT) programmes. A teacher aid is employed to work with the teachers and children in the classrooms. Each classroom has PCs and a mobile pod of laptops circulates amongst the classrooms. Each classroom has access to the network via school wide cabling and wireless technology. The school has invested in sound systems for classroom use and for use in assemblies.

Our school hall has been completed and is a fantastic facility for many events and activities, including after hours uses. For full school occasions such as end of year prize giving we utilise the Central Baptist Church.

For swimming, we travel to the Splash Centre for 11 weeks of the year in the summer terms. 

An exciting and growing Adventure Playground area is adjacent to a construction zone that the children use for building and creating.
